Four star silver awarded Lodge from 2006 to the present day by Visit Britain the national tourist office for Britain. 

Both The Lodge & our Country Kitchen restaurant, which is licensed, go hand in hand with the famous legend of Bayard's Leap, of which the horseshoes from Bayard still remain here to this day.  

The horseshoes have attracted many visitors throughout the years. Although the Country Kitchen has been refurbished and is now over 100yrs old, we have strived to maintain the original atmosphere of those bygone days.

Byards Leap is situated just a couple of minutes away by car from the RAF Cranwell College. The RAF Heritage centre is a good walk away or just a few minutes by car. Also at Byards Leap we are situated on the Viking long distance footpath, this is ideal for ramblers, walkers and nature lovers alike.
