We
have a quiet guest lounge where you can relax with a book or play board games.
An iron is available on request. There is parking available. We have secure
storage for cycles and we have installed a heated drying cupboard.
For
those of you who do not wish to eat out every night, there is a microwave in
the breakfast room, and we are happy to provide warmed plates and cutlery.
Our
Full English Breakfast (included in the price)is made with quality ingredients
with milk and eggs delivered straight from the farm. We also offer a choice of
fruit juices, cereals, fruit, yoghurts, tea, coffee, toast and locally made
preserves. Vegetarians catered for.
Taxis
can be arranged for those travelling via Exeter Airport or St Davids train
station from £30. Please ask when booking.
We
are within walking distance of the Museum of Dartmoor Life, Okehampton Castle,
Simmons Park and Parklands Leisure Centre. Cycle Route 27 (the Granite Way)
begins only 400 yards away and cycle hire can be arranged from the youth
Hostel, 'adventureokehampton' where you can also book to go on their many
outdoor activities while staying in the comfort of our guest house.
