In the Winter, Glenshee (Scotland's largest ski centre) ski slopes are only 20 minutes’ drive from the hotel. The Cateran Trail (a 63 mile circular walk from Blairgowrie to Glenshee and beyond) passes through the village and makes the hotel a great base to explore from.
