The Vean is a stunning Georgian house on the Caerhays Estate near St Austell in Cornwall. Our beautiful guest accommodation is nestled in the wooded Porthluney Valley and is an ideal base for both business and leisure guests who are visiting the area or as a venue for a special occasion.
The guest house is available for exclusive hire for special family celebrations, house parties, weddings, holidays, business lunches and meetings, film shoots and a luxury B&B break away. Our guest accommodation can be yours for an hour, a day or as long as you like! All stays include free entry into Caerhays Castle Gardens with a private tour included when possible.
We are one of the country’s leading shooting estates and provide our guests with the perfect place to retire to after a day’s sport. We have a well stocked bar and a beautiful residents lounge that is a great place to sit and relax at any time of day.
The Vean is the perfect place from which to explore Cornwall, either on foot along the county’s hundreds of miles of paths or by car. The picturesque and historic towns such as Falmouth and Truro are a short drive away as well as many beautiful walks that start from the front door of our guest house.
