The Lynch Country House offers high-quality B&B accommodation for the discerning visitor to Somerton, Somerset. This superb Regency house is set in lush countryside on the edge of the delightful medieval market town of Somerton, the ancient capital of Wessex.

There are nine guest bedrooms in the main B&B house all with luxurious, quality bedding, fluffy towels and new towelling bathrobes and individual toiletries from Duck Island. This Grade II listed house is surrounded by an idyllic landscape where 2,800 trees have been planted to encourage a wildlife sanctuary. There is a lake which is the home of black swans, numerous exotic ducks and a variety of fish. The B&B is a perfect base from which to explore a whole range of interesting places including stately homes, famous gardens, museums etc. and the area is ideal for walking, touring, hunting and fishing. There are several excellent places to eat locally, some within walking distance, to suit every taste and every pocket. The Lynch Bed & Breakfast is well situated for those wishing to visit schools at Bath, Bruton, Millfield, Sherborne, Taunton and Wells.
