The Ferryboat Inn, Dyffryn, Fishguard & Goodwick, Pembrokeshire

The Ferryboat Inn offers wonderful guest house accommodation on the edge of Dyffryn at Fishguard & Goodwick in Pembrokeshire. We are near the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and the ferry port to Ireland, making us an ideal stop-off point for both business and leisure guests.

Our inn has 7 guest rooms. One twin room can be made into a family room. Each room is stylish but simply furnished with solid oak furniture, hotel standard beds, Toshiba Flat-screen LCD TVs, Sony clock radios and Mira Showers. All of the guest rooms have a complimentary hospitality tray that includes tea, coffee, hot chocolate, welsh spring water, fresh milk & herbal teas available on request.

We can offer extra beds in rooms for children or adults together with a cot for babies or toddlers. Two of our doubles are on the ground floor and one of these is wheelchair friendly.

Breakfast is served each morning in our stylish dining room and is made using as many ingredients as possible from local suppliers. We aim to provide something for everyone’s appetite however please let us know if there is something you would prefer or if you have any special dietary requirements. For a lovely evening meal, you can dine at The Rose and Crown or The Firepit which is a part of The Hope and Anchor. We also have an outdoor seating area for the summer months.

There are plenty of outdoor activities from walking to coasteering. If you prefer to test your sea legs, you can try your hand at kayaking, sailing or just one of the organised trips that are available to see the local wildlife. There are lots of wildlife visitors each year to Pembrokeshire and thousands and thousands come for several months: the puffins, the Manx shearwaters and the dolphins. Then there's the largest population of grey seals in the world and you can see their many pups in the autumn on the secluded beaches around the county.

If you are interested in history, then there are thousands of years of archaeological treasures to see, from bronze age burial chambers to more recent industrial heritage.
