Stronchreggan View Guest House is a large modern family-run guest house just outside of Fort William in Inverness-shire.
The accommodation is an ideal base for touring Scotland's Highlands and Islands easy day trips to Mallaig, Oban, Skye, Mull and much more.
There is a large guest lounge overlooking Loch Linnhe and across to the Ardgour hills, ideal to relax in during your stay also a separate dining room for breakfast in the morning. The house has 7 guest bedrooms - double, twin and family rooms. All rooms are en suite or have separate private bathrooms. No sharing bathrooms. All the rooms have a TV, tea & coffee making facilities, hair dryers, iron and wi-fi.
There is a large garden area and 30 square metre of garden decking and seating area to enjoy during your stay. Private off-street parking for all guest cars. A drying room for wet walking/biking gear etc. Sorry, no pets also a pet-free house.
Fort William is known as the capital of the Highlands and host to many events throughout the year. The Scottish Six Day Trials, the Pre 65's trials competition are the main motorbike events in May. June has the Mountain bike world championships and various national events throughout the season, No Fuss Events hosting 10 under the Ben and many more.
The Jacobite Steam train takes the Fort William to Mallaig route passing through Glenfinnan and the viaduct featured in the Harry Potter Movies. Ben Nevis the highest mountain in the UK a big attraction for the walkers, also the cable car taking you up the mountain Aonach Mor, fantastic views and many great walks.
