Oakenholt Farm Country Guest House in Oakenholt, Flint, provides award winning B&B accommodation in a quaint rural location in Flintshire.

This small 20 acre sheep farm is situated in a quiet, rural location surrounded by lovely countryside. Guests are welcomed on arrival by Rex, the friendly sheepdog who always wants a friend to play with! There is a beautiful garden with a pond and elegant fountain to the side to relax by on summer days.

You have a choice of single, double or twin rooms. All the rooms in the house offer the following: Comfortable beds with up to date finishings, en suite with shower, tea and coffee facilities & TV's with freeview.

A Full English breakfast is served everyday, with the option of continental available. Special diets and other healthy options are also available.

The farmhouse dates back to 1450, but has been sympathetically renovated to provide all modem facilities expected of a 4 Star Guest house.

Plas Penucha is situated two miles from Caerwys, the smallest town in the country and the birthplace of the National Eisteddfod of Wales and six miles from Saint Asaph, with the smallest medieval cathedral in the country.

Plas Penucha is based within 2½ acres of garden which have a natural beauty throughout the seasons of the year and beyond them is surrounding farmland which, in turn, looks out towards the Clwydian Hills. 

It is an extremely convenient position for touring North Wales - to the east are the cities of Chester and Liverpool together with the Wirral Peninsula while in the opposite direction the whole of the North Wales coast, the Snowdonia National Park, Anglesey, Llangollen and the Vale of Clwyd are all within easy reach. 

We are open to guests throughout the year and as members of the North Wales Tourism Council, the standard of our accommodation is graded and verified annually by the Welsh Tourist Board.

We also have a self catering property to offer.
