The Royal Lodge has 21 en-suite bedrooms which are arranged so that 20 take advantage of our unique position on the edge of the River Wye and make the most of the views so that every room faces the tranquil river or gardens.

The Royal Lodge has Hunters restaurant which offers fine food which is locally sourced where possible. We offer a creative and well thought out menu offering local dishes and international cuisine.

The Lodge is nestled below Symonds Yat Rock overlooking the River Wye. It has terraced gardens of Magnolia trees and a well established Wisteria. The Royal was converted from a Royal Hunting Lodge to a hotel in the 1920 & 8242’s and is now operating proudly as 4 Star Guest Accommodation. The Royal Lodge is a great place to unwind with long relaxing walks in outstanding scenery.
