well as offering guest accommodation The Horseshoe and Castle is a family run
pub that has a welcoming atmosphere and tasty food.
Breakfast
is served at The Horseshoe and Castle from 8.30am and 10.30am Saturday and
Sunday. There is a wide variety of breakfast options to choose from and for
those special occasions Bucks Fizz can also be provided.
The
Horseshoe can cater for an intimate weddings, Parties Christenings and more
with up to 40 guests in the restaurant with additional seating in the bar area.
We offer a wide selection of service including À la carte dining and the finest
selection of appetizers and Canapés to suit your pallet. There is also the
option of a hot or cold food buffet as for your guests or as an additional
option for an evening wedding reception.
Situated
in the small Kentish village of Cooling overlooking the famous Dickens country
where inspiration for his novel “Great Expectations” took a lot from. The
surrounding towns and the once City of Rochester feature some wonderful
attractions including The Guildhall Museum, Dickens World and Chatham Dockyards
which also featured in the award winning film Le Les Misérables.
