The Greenman Backpackers and B&B is a friendly, family run business situated in the picturesque town centre of Chepstow.  Nestled between the estuaries of The River Severn and The River Wye, the area has easy access to the beautiful Wye Valley (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty), the Royal Forest Of Dean, The Vale of Usk, Gloucestershire, Monmouthshire and South Wales.

This accommodation is in a fully renovated grade II* listed building which has great importance in the town. The accommodation is comprised of double en suite rooms, en suite family rooms, en suite family suite, twin rooms with private bathrooms and 5 dormitory rooms for backpackers, hikers and groups. There is a large communal kitchen with all the usual facilities, a large television lounge, a feature bar and a patio area with BBQ and a pizza oven.

All visitors are welcome, whether travelling solo, as a couple, family or groups. Whatever your accommodation needs, your hosts will do their utmost to fulfil your requirements.

The Greenman is ideally situated as a base for young and old alike to explore Chepstow with its Norman castle, and the beautiful surrounding areas. The Wye Valley, Tintern Abbey, Clearwell Caves and much more. Chepstow is the beginning and finish of several long distance walks including Offa’s Dyke, The Gloucester way, The Wye Valley Walk, The All Wales coastal path and many local shorter walks.

The National Diving Centre is close by, also canoeing, rock climbing and many other great activities.
