West House, North Cowton, Northallerton, North Yorkshire
West House is a former farmhouse centrally situated in the unspoilt
village of North Cowton in North Yorkshire. Just ten minutes from Scotch
Corner, it is one of the oldest houses in the village and now
offers comfortable bed and breakfast accommodation.
The B&B offers two double rooms and one twin bedded room which can be turned into a "super king" if required. Two of these rooms have their original coal fireplaces.
The comfortable sitting room has a Victorian Yorkshire Range, television, video and local information. Guests have the use of a utility room with washing machine, fridge/freezer, microwave & a fully fitted kitchen. Breakfast supplies can be provided for you.
North Cowton is within easy reach of Northallerton and Darlington and the market towns of Bedale and Leyburn in Wensleydale, and Richmond, with its historic castle, Georgian Theatre Royal and riverside walks in Swaledale.
