Dower House Guest House offers superb guesthouse accommodation in an elevated position near Wray Castle, close to the Lake District town of Ambleside in Cumbria. Our guest house has wonderful views overlooking Lake Windermere and is a quiet and peaceful retreat from which to explore this beautiful part of England.

The local area offers a range of attractions including The World of Beatrix Potter where you can discover Peter Rabbit, Jemima Puddle-Duck and all their friends in an indoor recreation of the books.
