@EdenGate is a family-run Victorian guest house offering bed & breakfast accommodation close to Penrith town centre. We a great base for exploring the Lake District, the North Pennines and Hadrian’s Wall.
We endeavour to make our bedrooms as comfortable as possible. All are decorated in a fresh contemporary style and our beds and big fluffy towels are frequently praised by guests for the comfort that they provide. Excellent facilities include:

The guest house offers easy access to many places of interest such as Ullswater and Ullswater Steamers, Rheged Discovery Centre, Lowther Castle Gardens, Hutton in the Forest and Dalemain country house, which are all within a few minutes’ drive. All of the main Lake District and Eden Valley attractions are readily accessible, many by public transport. @EdenGate is also a great place to stop overnight if you are tackling Le Jog or the C2C cycle route.
