The Limes is the perfect base for your visit. It is full of character and within a two minute walk of Swanage town centre. The beach, clifftop walks and all that Purbeck has to offer are within easy reach. The Limes is informal, comfortable and well appointed and we are pleased to welcome families, groups and pets.
There are a selection of double, twin and family rooms. All are en suite and some enjoy sea views. There are also three single rooms which share two bathrooms. Each room has a TV and tea and coffee making facilities. Cots and high chairs are available and a babysitting service is available by arrangement. For your convenience Wi-Fi internet connection is available free of charge.
At breakfast a selection of fruit juices, cereals, yoghurts and fruit is available from the buffet table. Follow this with a generous cooked breakfast.
The cosy licensed bar is open in the evenings and a games room, with a pool table, children's books and toys, adds to the friendly relaxed atmosphere.
Outdoor pursuits are a part of a Purbeck holiday and The Limes has a laundry with drying facilities and iron. There is a private car park at the rear of the building and secure storage is available for cycles and other equipment. Swanage beach offers safe, clean bathing and dogs are not permitted from 30th April to 30th September. However there are other beaches only a short drive away where dogs are allowed all the year round, including Shell Bay, Lulworth Cove and Kimmeridge Bay.
The beautiful Isle of Purbeck with its World Heritage coastline offers something for everyone - wonderful beaches, terrific walking at all levels, cycling, watersports, Swanage steam railway and many attractions for all ages.
