The area offers a variety of scenic walks, ranging from short strolls to longer hikes, with a landscape that is gently or more steeply undulating—contrary to the common perception of Lincolnshire as entirely flat.

Located in the southeastern corner of the Lincolnshire Wolds Natural Landscape, Hagworthingham provides superb far-reaching views. The village features a well-regarded pub, two cafés, and a farm shop with a butchery. The surrounding area is ideal for walking and cycling, with easy access to the coast to the east and the historic cathedral city of Lincoln to the west. Nearby attractions include motor racing at Cadwell Park, horse racing at Market Rasen, and several aviation heritage museums. The local market towns are rich in character, and antique emporiums are plentiful.

Holly Cottage offers two double rooms and a twin room, all of which are en suite.
