The Ferris Wheel, Beaufort, Killarney, Co Kerry
The Ferris Wheel is a bed and breakfast in Co Kerry, located less than half a mile from the famous Gap of Dunloe mountain pass at Beaufort. Our B&B is perfect for those who want to explore this beautiful part of Ireland and the many attractions and places of interest it has to offer. Scenic tours of the Gap by traditional horse-drawn carriage are available.
With views of the flowery garden, horses in the field or the distant mountains, the bright and warmly furnished rooms each provide beds with Egyptian white linen. Rooms all include an en suite bathroom with a power shower. The emphasis is on a friendly personal service to enhance a comfortable relaxing stay for you and yours to enjoy.
There is a self service buffet-style continental breakfast offered with Orange Juice, Apple Juice, Cereals, Cheeses, Yogurts and fresh fruit, Fresh Fruit.
An a la carte breakfast menu is offered with the following:
Full Irish (bacon, egg, sausage, black & white pudding, tomato) bacon and eggs.
Bacon, sausage and egg.
Scrambled egg with oak smoked Wild Atlantic salmon.
Pancakes served with maple syrup & fruit.
Fresh fruit salad and yoghurt.
Killarney’s centre, along with its train and bus station, are located 15 minutes away by car. The Gap of Dunloe winds through the scenic MacGillycuddy Reeks mountain range and passes 5 lakes and the River Loe. Kate Kearney’s Cottage, offering a bar/restaurant with live traditional music and Irish dancing, is 5 minutes’ walk away. The beautiful Lakes of Killarney and 2 golf courses are just a 10-minute drive from The Ferris Wheel.
