Lacet House offers B&B accommodation in Ambleside, Cumbria. It is a great base for those who want to explore the Lake District National Park and is perfectly situated for a weekend or midweek break or a leisurely holiday; there are five guest bedrooms and a cottage.

All the guest rooms are tastefully decorated to a high standard in both traditional and contemporary styles. Many are spacious with comfortable sitting areas and all offer a variety of different views including the surrounding fells, the park with its fine imposing church or across the rooftops of Ambleside that leads the eye to the summit of Wansfell Pike. There is an extensive breakfast menu with locally sourced food products, served in the lovely breakfast room which offers stunning views over the fells. Special dietary requirements are catered for on request.

Many different attractions can be enjoyed without leaving the village including tennis, crazy golf, pitch & puff and a bowling green. Stroll or sit in the park visit the waterfalls, stroll to Lake Windermere to feed the ducks and swans or enjoy a cruise on the Lake or climb the surrounding fells and mountains for breathtaking views in all directions.
