Log fires warm you in winter and in summer you can eat in the cool shade of the arbour or dine by candlelight in the conservatory where limestone flags are spread with Persian rugs. The garden is exceptional and has been featured in various magazines and books.

The rates include a breakfast where all local ingredients are used including homemade bread by the owner.

The historic town of Malmesbury is approx five miles away and claims to be the oldest borough in England. King Athelstan - the first King of England is buried in the Abbey which is well worth a visit.
