Downton Lodge provides fantastic adult only accommodation near Dittisham. It is nestled in a gorgeous country setting and perfect for exploring Dartmouth, the South Hams and a variety of attractions in Devon.
The lodge has been tastefully restored to its original period style and offers a range of modern facilities. Each room enjoys countryside views over the rolling farmland and sea. The beds include pocket-sprung mattresses, pure cotton sheets and soft feather duvets.

The Dartmouth twin or super-king room has an en-suite bathroom including a bath with shower over, WC & washbasin. They also have the art deco double room that includes an en suite bathroom with a shower, WC & washbasin. The twin room and one of the double rooms have balconies to unwind on.
All the rooms include a variety of facilities; TV, DVD player, hair dryer USB charging points, free Wi-Fi, USB charging sockets and tea and coffee-making facilities.
They offer a lovely breakfast using fresh local produce, including an English breakfast with locally sourced sausages, bacon and eggs. A range of fruit and fruit juices, cereals, tea and ground coffee are available. We can also provide different cooked options or a continental-style breakfast.

Right on the doorstep are lots of country walks to enjoy. In the village, there are 2 pubs (the Red Lion and Ferry Boat Inn), a shop, a cafe, boat hire and a sailing school. Take a ferry trip to Dartmouth and visit Greenway House. You can also visit the towns of Salcombe, Kingsbridge and Totnes.
