The White Horse is a traditional pub that offers beautifully appointed guest rooms, a relaxing environment to enjoy a drink and a delightful restaurant serving seasonal cuisine. This incredibly pretty pub is in a beautiful location at Woolstone near Uffington and is an ideal base for business and leisure guests who are vising this lovely part of Oxfordshire.

We have 6 guest rooms available, all of which have been thoughtfully decorated and furnished, providing guests with boutique style accommodation. They include modern facilities and uncharacteristically high water pressure. We have 4 double rooms and 2 twin rooms; however one of the twins can be set up for family sleeping. This room is set over 2 floors and has a sofa bed on the lower floor and twin beds on the upper floor. All of the guest rooms include:

Breakfast is freshly prepared each morning and is served from 7 – 9.45 am on weekdays and from 8 - 9.45 am on weekends. Lunch and dinner is available in the restaurant, which is also open to non residents.

The bar at The White Horse is the heart of the pub. Expect to mix with locals, those staying the night and our guests enjoying fine food and wine. Well, our garden is a wonderful place to enjoy a drink and an evening away from the hustle and bustle - with its own Italian wood-burning pizza oven.

The White Horse is one of Britain's oldest Inns and with its thatched roof, oak beams, log fires and warm welcome is probably one of its most beautiful, as well. Built in Elizabethan times, the pub itself is almost half a century old and is set in the olde worlde village of Woolstone, in the heart of the vale of Whitehorse; 11 miles from Swindon, 5 miles from Faringdon and 7 miles from Wantage. Popular with locals, tourists, and all those who love good food and top class accommodation, the pub is perfect for those who enjoy walking and exploring the visual delights of the nearby White Horse Hill, the Ridgeway and other ancient monuments. Nobody knows for sure when the Uffington horse was cut, though the general belief now is that it is probably 2000 years old and possibly even older.

The Pebbles offers boutique guest accommodation in a quiet avenue in central Weymouth. We are perfectly situated for easily reaching the town and beach which are within a 5 minute stroll.

A Walkers Haven offers self contained accommodation (without breakfast) in a quiet location, situated just a few minutes from the beach at Aberystwyth in Ceredigion. There are seaviews to enjoy as the accommodation is opposite the sea.

The Border Hotel is a traditional Scottish property that offers comfortable and cosy hotel accommodation in Kirk Yetholm and is a great base for walkers as we are at the end of the 268 mile Pennine Way.

The Border Hotel has five 'named' guest rooms, each offering exceptionally high standards of comfort with spectacular views over the village green or the surrounding countryside. All five hotel rooms are as charming as they are functional, with en suite shower and bath, flat-screen digital TV, tea and coffee facilities and radio alarm clock.

Breakfasts are served from 8.00am and offer a comprehensive choice from the traditional Scottish breakfast to the popular scrambled eggs with smoked salmon. For those wishing an early start, breakfast trays are available.

Our approach to food at The Border is to use the best of local ingredients, cook them simply and let the quality speak for itself. Our seafood is landed at Eyemouth. Scotch beef and Border lamb come from J. Gilmour and we regularly source game from the local estates. We carefully select a range of old & new world wines to compliment our dishes.

The bar boasts a range of local cask conditioned ales, fine Scotch and spirits. Lunch is served Monday – Thursday 12 - 2 pm and Friday - Saturday from 12 - 12.30pm. If you wish to dine with us for an evening meal, we advise making a reservation. A Sunday carvery is available from 12 - 7 pm.

Check in from 3 pm check out before 10 am.

Kirk Yetholm is best known as a centre for walkers. The Pennine Way Long Distance Footpath ends at the Border Hotel, a mere 268 miles north of its southern terminus in Edale, Derbyshire. Kirk Yetholm has also become a feature on the St. Cuthbert's Way, a 62 mile walk following in the footsteps of St. Cuthbert from Melrose to Lindisfarne.

Those travelling the St. Cuthbert's Way might arrive in the village less wearily than walkers concluding the Pennine Way, but for both groups, the Border Hotel is an extremely welcome sight. Kirk Yetholm is also the start point for the 470 mile Scottish National Trail.

We offer a complimentary half pint for Pennine Way walkers with completion certificate and book to sign.

The Orchid Rooms: This suite also has three rooms and has views over the walls of the Abbey ruins. The room can be made up as a super king or two single beds and you have your own breakfast room with fridge and microwave. There is Freeview TV and an en-suite luxury shower room.

All the rooms have tea & coffee, shampoo & shower gel, fresh towels and milk provided on arrival.

Glastonbury High Street offers plenty of places for full cooked breakfasts and is just a few minutes walk away.

There is plenty to see and do in the area for all ages including climbing up the famous and historic Glastonbury Tor and visiting Glastonbury Abbey.
