Marshwood Farm B&B offers bed and breakfast accommodation in the
peace and tranquillity of the Wiltshire countryside on a working farm
at Dinton, near Salisbury.
This charming B&B has 2 rooms - The Green Room and The Blue Room. The Green Room is a double/twin bedroom with en suite shower room. The Blue Room is a double/family bedroom with an en suite bath and shower room.
A traditional farmhouse or continental breakfast is served and guests are welcome to use the garden and tennis court.
Salisbury to the east offers many attractions - the Cathedral with its impressive spire and surroundings, a traditional market (Tuesdays and Saturdays) in the market square, theatre, a variety of restaurants, shopping and guided tours or perhaps a day or evening at the races. To the west of Marshwood a visit to Longleat, the safari park, house and grounds, is recommended as a day out, with something for everyone. Further to the west is the delightful city of Bath, with its Roman baths, museums, fine architecture and a mix of shopping and dining. Shaftesbury, a hilltop town, with its Gold Hill, quaint cobbled streets and King Alfred's Abbey, has breathtaking views of the Dorset countryside. Stourhead, the house and grounds ever changing throughout the seasons, holds many events throughout the year.
