No. 21 York Bed & Breakfast offers a choice of nine clean & comfortable rooms, a warm and homely
welcome as well as a great Yorkshire breakfast - all within a stone’s
throw of York city centre.
Built circa 1890, this Victorian terrace has been offering accommodation and breakfast to guests since 1966. Recently acquired & refurbished, part of No. 21's ethos is that they support local businesses, sourcing all produce & services – wherever possible – from within a 20 mile radius of York.
The guest rooms all feature Smart TV's with Freeview, alarm clock radios with docking station, complimentary Wi-Fi, tea & coffee facilities with homemade biscuits & Taylor's of York teas & coffees, Harrogate Spa mineral waters, hair dryers, irons & boards and free off-road parking to the rear of the building.
Breakfast is sourced locally with bacon, eggs, sausages & black budding all coming from The Farmers Cart just outside of York. Jams & marmalades are from Bracken Hill Farm at Elvington, the breads are homemade & with flour from the Windmill in Acomb, as are the pancakes. Fruits, vegetables & fruit juices are sourced from Millies on Bishopthorpe Road in York.
