The Havelock, Shanklin, Isle of Wight
The Havelock is located in the heart of Shanklin overlooking the sea
on the Isle of Wight. Originally a gentleman’s residence, it has been
sympathetically renovated and extended, to provide guests with award
winning accommodation that enjoys beautiful views.
There are 22 en suite guest rooms each with tea & coffee making facilities, digital TV and a hairdryer. Breakfast is served in the dining room and includes a cooked breakfast using locally sourced produce where possible. If guests want to relax, there is a welcoming lounge that has a variety of magazines, books, games, cards and puzzles. There is also a bar that offers a wide selection of drinks, as well as light meals & snacks.
Behind the guest house is a Mediterranean-style outdoor swimming pool which is heated and open from mid-May to mid-September.
The Havelock is situated close to Shanklin Chine, Keats Green & the beach. Old Shanklin Village with its beautiful thatched pubs, houses and restaurants are a couple of minutes’ walk away. The area is fantastic for exploring by foot or by car.
