The Spiggie Hotel, Dunrossness, Shetland Islands
The Spiggie Hotel is a quaint hotel located within Dunrossness which is the southernmost parish of the Shetland Islands. The hotel offers comfortable accommodation, home cooked cuisine and wonderful views of the RSPB nature reserve at Spiggie Loch. We also located close to a number of stunning cliff walks. Our dining room can seat 45 people and has spectacular views from each side. The conservatory allows our guests to start their day with breakfast in peace and solitude and in the evening, witness the most amazing sunsets overlooking the Isle of Foula.
Spiggie Loch is the best loch is Shetland for fishing and Spiggie Beach is one the best beaches to visit in the area. The beach is only 5 minutes away. The Shetland Angler's Association has equipment available for hire and you can catch 2 – 3lbs trout and sea trout.
