The Bay Horse Inn at West Woodburn is a delightful 18th Century coaching inn built by a stone bridge over the River Rede in the Cheviot Hills. This is the place to stop on your journey: to rest, drink, eat well and relax in a warm friendly, informal atmosphere.

Five of the seven guest bedrooms are en-suite. The two large bedrooms share a bathroom which is ideal for a family. All bedrooms are decorated individually in a delightful cottage style. and have TV, tea/coffee making facilities, hair dryers, ironing facilities and a trouser press.

At The Bay Horse Inn, the menus offer a wide and extensive range of dishes carefully prepared from the best local meats, fish and vegetables. For vegetarians and vegans there is an interesting alternative selection. Children have their own menu or may choose selected dishes from the main menus. Diners can choose where they wish to eat, either in the comfortable bar or in the intimate restaurant. The traditional Sunday lunch menu offers a choice of roasts and freshly prepared puddings, made by Hilda, legendary throughout the area. 

The Bay Horse Inn sits by the River Rede in the quiet Northumberland village of West Woodburn. The Rede Valley and it's surrounding area are known for its peace, tranquility and wide open spaces.
