There are some excellent walks in the valley, especially the Thames walk across the lock to Henley. There are also some great cycling routes around Skirmett and plenty of wildlife. 

Henley-on-Thames is a picturesque town full of history. The 13th-century church, impressive town hall and market square are worth a visit.
