Holly Lodge offers award-winning, luxury accommodation in the quiet North Norfolk village of Thursford Green. Based around a former farmhouse dating back nearly 300 years, Holly Lodge features superbly designed guest cottages in the old stable block with wonderful gardens and a magnificent conservatory for you to relax in. Just five miles from the famous North Norfolk Coast, we are surrounded by unspoilt countryside, historic houses and pretty towns and villages.
Our accommodation sits in an acre of grounds with an extensive landscaped garden available for the use of guests, including a decking area. Original features have been uncovered and retained such as flagstone floors, beams and an inglenook fireplace. These are complemented by dramatic decor and furniture intended to make a stay at Holly Lodge an extra special treat. All of the guest rooms are in the converted stable block, which was once the stop-off for pilgrims, making their way to the shires at Little Walsingham. The bedrooms include king beds, 2 of which can be made into twins.
Breakfast is served in our garden conservatory. A delicious continental array of cereals, granola, seasonal fruits, fresh bread, pastries, and juices are laid out allowing our guests to help themselves, and if you still have room, we also serve a full and wholesome cooked English breakfast, using only the finest of North Norfolk's locally sourced produce.

North Norfolk is famous for its open countryside and big skies. Sparsely populated and largely unspoilt, its characteristic brick-and-flint villages are surrounded by miles of working farmland. Most of the coastline from Wash to beyond Cromer is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, its unique saltmarsh habitat providing a haven for wildlife as well as spectacular walks, sailing and scenery.
The area has long been popular with holidaymakers and is well served by good restaurants and pubs and offers endless opportunities for visitors, from quiet relaxation to traditional seaside fun.
