The Cover Bridge Inn dates from the 16th Century and now offers superb accommodation. Based near Leyburn in a tranquil part of North Yorkshire, great for an unforgettable holiday.
This characterful old coaching inn is nestled along the gorgeous River Cover, just a few hundred yards upstream from the confluence with the River Ure. There are 3 beautifully furnished en suite bedrooms to stay in. All the rooms come with a TV and hot drinking-making facilities.
You can savour some wonderful food whilst staying here. They offer homemade pies and lasagne, vegetarian dishes, steaks and famous traditional ham and eggs. A daily specials board is also available. On Sundays, you can tuck into a hearty Sunday roast with all the trimmings. Wholesome meals and snacks are available.
The bar offers a relaxing place for a drink or two in a lovely setting. The bar boasts heavy open beams, wooden settles and roaring log fires. Great drinks on offer include Theakston's Best Bitter, Old Peculier, Black Sheep, Timothy Taylors Landlord, guest beers and three real ciders. On Sunday, enjoy an ale in the spacious garden whilst watching the river flow by.
Permits can be obtained here for the River Cover and the River Ure which offers fantastic trout and grayling fishing.
