The East End Arms is a traditional country pub offering comfortable guest accommodation in the beautiful New Forest National Park, near Lymington in Hampshire. Combining good food, a welcoming atmosphere and individually designed bedrooms, it makes an inviting base for exploring this picturesque part of the south coast.
The pub also has an interesting history. In 1990, it was bought by John Illsley, bass guitarist of Dire Straits, with the aim of preserving it for the local community. Today, it continues to offer the character and hospitality expected from a traditional country pub.
There are five individually designed guest rooms, each of which can be arranged as either a double or twin depending on guests’ requirements. Oka furnishings and Mulberry fabrics give the rooms a luxurious feel while retaining a comfortable and homely atmosphere.
Each bedroom has en suite facilities, free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV, Nespresso machine and tea tray, providing everything needed for a relaxing stay.
A hearty New Forest breakfast is included in the price, providing a great start to a day spent discovering the surrounding national park and Hampshire countryside.
Food is an important part of a stay at The East End Arms too. Ingredients are sourced locally and menus follow the seasons wherever possible. Chef Mark Davison has created a varied selection of dishes, with choices for meat eaters, fish lovers and vegetarians.
