Pengelly Farmhouse is a working family dairy farm in the pretty hamlet of Burlawn near Wadebridge in Cornwall. The farmhouse offers B&B accommodation in a listed Georgian farmhouse and is tastefully decorated and furnished. It offers two spacious en suite bedrooms both with views over the large garden.
The two bedrooms available for booking consist of one double and one twin room. The double bedroom is a very spacious B&B room with a king-size bed and a comfortable sofa to sit and read or watch television. The twin bedded room is also spacious with two single beds and a chaise longue style sofa. Both guest rooms have views overlooking the garden and are tastefully decorated offering private en suite facilities, TV, radio, hairdryer and beverage trays.
Downstairs in the traditional style dining room, a generous full English breakfast is served using local produce wherever possible. Special dietary requirements can be met upon prior arrangement. The breakfast buffet consists of cereals, grapefruit, fresh fruit salad, yoghurts, fruit juice, tea and coffee. To follow, a full Cornish breakfast is served or other lighter options should you prefer. Finish with toast of your choice using the homemade bread available and preserves. Local produce is used wherever possible.
Pengelly Farm is ideally situated as a walking and touring base, with the North Cornwall coastline and beaches within close proximity where activities include sailing, surfing, golf, riding and of course coastal walks.
The ever-popular Camel Trail, The Saints Ways and several National Trust properties are all within easy reach including the award-winning Pencarrow House. Bodmin Moor and Padstow are only a twenty-minute drive away.
