The Old Rectory is a wonderful bed and breakfast a short walk from the centre of Chicklade, near Hindon in Wiltshire. Our B&B offers friendly hospitality, a warm welcome and comfortable en suite B&B rooms that will make your stay in this beautiful part of England an absolute delight.
The Old Rectory is an ideal venue for family get-togethers. Walkers and cyclists are also very welcome, as we are on the Dorset and Wiltshire borders, with The Great Ridge Walkway being close to the property. We have 3 en suite bedrooms available.
Each bedroom is individually designed and furnished to a high standard. All have complimentary toiletries, hospitality trays, flat-screen TV with Freeview, free-standing or desktop fans, no charge Wi-Fi and hairdryers.
Our full English breakfast can be enjoyed in the drawing-room. Where possible we use locally sourced ingredients, including our eggs from free-range hens. We are very happy to help with any special dietary requirements and can accommodate diabetic, vegetarian, vegan and dairy-free diets.
Our bed and breakfast makes a great base to explore local attractions, Stonehenge, Longleat and Salisbury or to break your journey whilst travelling to and from the West Country. Within an hour's drive of our B&B you can reach the New Forest, Stourhead Gardens and House, Cley Hill, Gold Hill, site of the iconic seventies ‘Hovis’ advert, Stonehenge, Salisbury and Bath.
