Welcome to Langdale View Guest house; one of the older mid 19thC properties in Bowness.

Originally one very large family house, the property is now semi detached with its own private car park and garden with summer house for our guests to use. We are situated only a few minutes walk from the centre of Bowness accessed by road or private gate through the garden. 

We are lucky enough to enjoy peaceful surroundings secluded at the end of a semi private road yet minutes from the town centre and 500m from the shores of Lake Windermere. 

There are 5 double en-suite rooms individually furnished and decorated to a high standard. 

We source high quality locally produced ingredients in the preparation of our extensive breakfast menu where you can choose from the menu ranging from full English to smoked salmon and cream cheese on a toasted bagel or freshly made pancakes with maple syrup and seasonal fruit. 

We are ideally situated for exploring the Lake District by car, on foot or public transport.
