The Rothay Garth Ambleside Bed and Breakfast is a beautiful traditional Victorian Lakeland slate building set in its own landscaped grounds. Whilst retaining its character and many original features, the Rothay Garth offers en suite facilities, a comfortable spacious resident’s lounge and drinks service, conservatory, elegant breakfast room and a large private car park.

We pride our self on supplying our guests with an excellent breakfast. We have a choice of cereals, fresh fruit salad, compote, grapefruit segments, yogurts and juice from the selection on our breakfast table. We also take orders for a freshly cooked breakfast and we can cater for almost every taste. If you have any special dietary requirements please let us know.
