www.thebandbdirectory.co.uk Litcham Hall, Litcham, Kings Lynn, Norfolk

http://thebandbdirectory.co.uk/

Litcham Hall is situated on the edge of the conservation village of Litcham in the centre of Norfolk. This fine listed 18th Century house is set in three acres of garden, half an hour from the unspoilt North Norfolk coast.

Guests have the use of a large sitting room to themselves with a television. Breakfast is served in the dining room. There are plenty of good restaurants and pubs nearby.

This is an ideal place from which to visit anywhere in Norfolk, whether towards King’s Lynn in the west of the county, or Norwich in the east.

Many well known houses and garden open to the public are within easy reach including, of course, the great houses of Sandringham, Houghton, Holkham and Blickling.

www.thebandbdirectory.co.uk Ducksdrift, South Creake, Nr Fakenham, Norfolk

Our B&B is very homely with traditional fayre and an informal atmosphere. We're sure you will agree that Ducksdrift is your inviting, home away from home!

We are seven miles North West of Fakenham and approximately six miles from the coast, nestled in the cosy village of South Creake. Perfectly situated for both the rural and coastal life, you'll receive a lovely welcome at our riverside cottage, from both ourselves, and the ducks paddling outside.

With close links to the Norfolk retreat of HM The Queen - Sandringham, Burnham Market and the stately home, Houghton Hall, we are surrounded by a wealth of culture.

For those of you interested in wild life, North Norfolk contains several RSPB reserves a short drive away, with of course the seals off Blakeney Point. There's Walsingham with its National Anglican and Roman Catholic Shrines just a five miles drive. There's Fakenham race course, shopping at Burnham Market, the beautiful Georgian town of Holt, it just goes on and on.

There are often concerts, artistic events, horse trials and other such activities taking place. Bird watching is a great pastime in the area and we can supply you with an expert guide to accompany you, should you be an enthusiast.
