The Boat House offers comfortable guest accommodation located in the small Highland village of Boat of Garten, near Aviemore in Inverness-shire. 

We offer a range of guest rooms including four-poster, double, family and twin rooms. All of the guest rooms are tastefully decorated and furnished to a high standard. 

There is a small lounge that guests are welcome to use. There is comfortable seating, a TV, books and board games. This is a lovely place to relax, enjoy a drink and meet the other guests.

Our guest accommodation is the perfect base for those wanting to explore The Cairngorm National Park which is home to Britain's highest and most extensive mountain range. There are many activities available in the surrounding area including skiing, walking, cycling, climbing, bird watching, fishing, shooting, canoeing and much more. Bicycle hire is available nearby.

Craiglea Bed & Breakfast is situated on a quiet lane close to the centre of the village of Braemar in beautiful Aberdeenshire. Surrounded by mountains, rivers, woodland, castles, whisky distilleries and with wildlife aplenty, our property and Braemar has something for everyone.

On arrival, guests can enjoy a welcome drink and home bake in the living room whilst reading up about the local area with our extensive selection of information.

We have 3 double rooms, 2 twin rooms and a family room. One room has a double and a single. Another bedroom has a double and single bed but can made as a twin or triple. 

All rooms are light and airy and offer superb views of Braemar and the surrounding countryside.

We offer a substantial full Scottish breakfast or Continental breakfast which is included in the price. Vegetarian and coeliac options are available on request. Packed lunches are available by prior arrangement. A drying room is available for outdoor clothing and a boot dryer after a day out in the hills.

We are ideally situated for walking, cycling, golf, skiing and of course sightseeing. Braemar has some of the finest mountain scenery anywhere in the country. One major attraction of the area is the Glenshee Ski Centre. Equipment is available to hire at skibraemar which is just around the corner.
