There is no car park, however there is on road free/safe parking and a pay
& display 2 minutes away that is free over night.
One of the many trips available is to take the Windermere
Ferry and after walk to " Hill Top" the home of Beatrix Potter where
many of her characters sprang to life, and the location of the file "Miss
Potter". The fabulous Orrest Head & School Knott fells are within a 5
minute walk with views and walks that even the hiking novice can enjoy.
