Selwood Lodge is a family run Licensed Guest House, recently
refurbished, located a short walk to the north of Bognor Regis town centre and
is open all year round.
It is only a few minutes walk to the town centre and seafront where you
will find many shops, regular markets, cafés, restaurants, live theatre,
cinema, nightclubs and of course, many traditional English pubs. Bognor also
hosts various events including the International Birdman Rally. There are good
public transport connections including a frequent bus service running from
Brighton to Portsmouth & Southsea via Bognor Regis. The train station is
located on the northern edge of the town and offers a frequent service to towns
along the coast and to London.
Nearby historic Chichester, easily reached by car, bus or train, is a
roman city with examples of the old city walls still remaining. There are many
fine shops and restaurants with the Cathedral towering over the town.
Chichester also boasts the well known Festival Theatre offering a variety of
performances, frequently by international artists.
Another nearby town well worth a visit is Arundel with a charm from a
different age. Arundel Castle, the ancestral home of The Duke of Norfolk
attracts many visitors and the magnificent Roman Catholic Cathedral dominates
the town from its high elevation.
