Motherby House is a comfortable and relaxing bed and breakfast that is situated within the hamlet of Motherby near Penrith in Cumbria.
Our bed and breakfast is ideally located for those who want to explore the Lake District National Park and enjoy the many wonderful trails, paths, bridleways and cycle paths throughout this magnificent area.
A hearty breakfast is available each morning and is a great way to start the day. A 3 course dinner is available and is a hearty home cooked meal to ensure you are satisfied after a busy day. We are pleased to cater for vegetarians and packed lunches are also available on request with a large selection of fillings.
Whether you are staying with us for a long break or stopping off for 1 night whilst touring the Lake District, you can be sure of receiving a warm welcome and a comfortable place to rest your head. The market town of Penrith is six miles to the east, Keswick is 12 miles away and the popular Helvellyn, Blencathra and High Street mountains are close by for walkers to explore.
