This Spinney is a guest house located on the outskirts of Shirwell near Barnstaple in Devon. The Guest house has magnificent views across the stunning North Devon landscape.
The food is cooked on a wonderful Rayburn providing a high quality and delicious breakfast. The ingredients used are locally sourced wherever possible including local sausages and fresh eggs.
We have a cosy snug that has its own log burner and is an ideal place to meet other guests, reading the paper or enjoying a drink. There is also Wi-Fi in this room for guests who need to check their emails. This room has a selection of board games, books, DVD's and puzzles that guests are welcome to use. On the hotter days guests are more than welcome to use the garden to relax in where there are tables and chairs.
There is so much to do in Devon including walking with endless miles of bridleways and footpaths waiting to be explored. There are beautiful woodlands walks and stunning river walks that all offer lovely views. The area is also a surfer’s paradise with some of the UK's best surfing beaches on the B&B's doorstep.
