Dol Llan Mansion is a luxurious bed and breakfast, located in a beautiful part of Carmarthenshire at Llandysul in the heart of Wales. Our mansion near Barry has been tastefully restored and refurbished to offer the highest standard accommodation that a modern traveller requires, whilst being able to enjoy the period features of the mansion and its beautiful surroundings.

There are 3 suites available at the mansion:

The Major Cass Suite comprises a 4-poster bed and a wall-mounted flat-screen TV. The room is en suite with a power shower. The room also has a living room with seating for four with an additional wall-mounted flat-screen TV which will also accommodate an extra person on a pull-down sofa.

The Rees Suite comprises a spacious king-size bed and a wall-mounted flat-screen TV. The room is en suite with a bath and power shower. The room also has a chaise lounge for you to relax in.

The Drunken Suite has been named so, due to the quirky floor and door. Centuries ago the mansion had a reputation for drinking and scandal, so this room's naming is a toast to its past. There is a double bed and a modern luxury en suite with bath and twin wash-hand basins. The view from the bath of the church is sublime. Put your feet up and watch some TV, we have a 42″ flat screen waiting for you.

Breakfast is included within the room rate and is freshly prepared each morning and served in the ‘Saloon’. We love to feed people up for their busy day ahead and we only use the best local produce for our breakfasts. Guests are also very welcome to relax in the large drawing room.

Our 11-seat hot tub/swim spa is available for private hire for a nominal fee. Running at 38 degrees C all year round, it is covered and accessible whatever the weather.

The Old Barn Bed & Breakfast offers superb accommodation in the pretty Welsh village of Penmark. It is only a short drive from the popular town of Barry and in a great location for exploring Glamorgan.

The guest house dates from the 17th Century and has has been carefully restored to offer comfortable and modern accommodation. The property still maintains many original features including oak beams and slate floors. The B&B is only 13 miles from Cardiff making it ideal for those who are in the area on business but want somewhere quiet and relaxing to stay. It is only a short drive to the Brecon Beacons, heritage coast and many other towns and villages where you will find a good selection of pubs and restaurants. New Farm is a 500 acre family working farm ideally situated in the wonderful Vale Of Glamorgan. We are fortunate to be located close to many interesting places from the coast to the city.

Walk the magnificent Heritage Coastline within the county and along the Valeway paths which interlink our villages. The coast is accessed through the farm and within a 25 min walk through Porthkerry country park leading along the coastline to Barry Island.

We offer our infamous Welsh hospitality and breakfast using local and our own produce where possible. Our 17th century oak beamed dining room houses a fridge and microwave for guests use.
