Beetham House Lodge is a boutique bed and breakfast in the charming village of Beetham nr Milnthorpe, Cumbria.
Beetham village is an ancient and charming settlement by the side of the River Bela, a mile south from Milnthorpe, with a beautiful church originating from the 11th Century. You will also find the Heron Theatre, a working Corn Mill and our popular local pub, The Wheatsheaf.
The area between Carnforth & Milnthorpe is a hidden secret corner of South Cumbria which teems with interest and activities. There are miles of rambles and hiking trails in ancient woodland and on headlands in this beautiful Conservation Area which includes the Arnside and Silverdale AONB and the famous Leighton Moss RSPB Reserve and yet we are only 20 minutes drive from Lake Windemere and the Lakeland National Park. Or, in 5 minutes, you can be strolling by Morecambe Bay with its famous, stunning sunsets, fishing and guided Estuary walks.
