The beach below is ideal for seaside picnics with its rock pools and areas of pebbles and sand.

Corsewall Lighthouse Hotel is a unique award-winning hotel that can be found at Corsewall Point in Kirkcolm near Stranraer. The hotel is a beautiful place to stay while exploring Dumfries and Galloway.

There is a range of luxurious guest rooms to suit all guests. The hotel rooms range from spectacular suites with sea facing views to beautifully appointed double rooms with wonderful meadow views. All of the guest rooms have en suite facilities except The Ailsa Room which has a private bathroom nearby.

Breakfast is included in the room rate and is served in the lighthouse restaurant. The restaurant is also open to non-residents and is open for both lunch and dinner. The lighthouse hotel in the North Rhinns of Galloway is ideal to explore Dumfries and Galloway and Ayrshire and is an excellent start or finish to visit Scotland. Sea fishing from the rocky shoreline or by boat from Portpatrick is recommended. Golfers can enjoy a day at Stranraer Golf Club or Dunskey Golf Club at Portpatrick and the Championship Golf courses at Turnberry are all within easy reach. A day return visit to Belfast by Stenna Line is available from Cairnryan.

Rolles Court is a 4 star bed and breakfast in Whitfield, just 5 minutes from Dover in Kent. We provide comfortable and relaxing B&B accommodation that is located in the countryside and is ideal for 1 night stays, short breaks or long holidays. 

Our bed and breakfast is a great venue for house parties! So if you are looking for a place to get together we would be happy to provide a base for you and cater for your needs. The bed and breakfast is set in its own 3 acres of garden in Whitfield which makes this a lovely place to relax after a day of sightseeing. 

Guests are welcome to wander through the grounds, relax on 1 of our sun loungers or take a dip in the heated swimming pool which is open during the summer months. For children there is a large lawn, ideal for ball games and a wooded area to explore.

For breakfast there is a selection of cereals, fruit, fruit juice and yoghurt from the buffet. This can be followed by either a full English breakfast or a lighter cooked choice with tea, coffee etc., toast and homemade jams. 

The bed and breakfast is only a short drive from the centre of Dover which is famous for its iconic White Cliffs. There are many cafes, restaurants and bars to visit during your stay, many of which serve freshly prepared food using local produce. During your stay you can take a walk along the cliff top to the South Foreland Lighthouse or take a short drive out of town to explore Samphire Hoe.
