Knowles Farm sits on a hill
sloping down to the shores of the upper Cleddau (Milford Haven Estuary). It's a
perfect base for water sports and more than 100 species of bird have been seen
on the farm and forshore.
There are wonderful walks
through woods and pasture and along the banks of the river.
The farmhouse faces south
with all the bedrooms at the front, looking across rolling farmland, towards
ancient hanging oakwoods. The spectacular Pembrokeshire coast is 20 minutes
away, and within a 10 mile radius there are many attractions from theme parks
and golf courses to museums, gardens, art galleries and craft centres.
Within four miles of
Lawrenny there is a vineyard, and for the sportsman there are riding stables
and good fishing on river, pond and estuary. For the energy gaps created by all
this activity, we also have a wide variety of pubs, restaurants and tea rooms
in the area.
