Black Lion Hotel in Pontrhydfendigaid is a beautiful and traditionally

hotel is located 1 mile from Strata Florida abbey, in the stunning scenery of
Mid-West Wales and is 20 minute drive from Aberystwyth. It is the ideal bed and
breakfast base for walkers, fishermen, cyclists & nature and history
lovers.
The
land surrounding the Black Lion Hotel is set in a naturally outstanding area of
beauty, it was to be designated a National Park in 1972 but was never ratified
because of powerful vested interests.
Due to
Strata Florida's remoteness, walkers can experience some of the most unspoilt
and beautiful scenery in Wales. This area truly is a hidden gem.
