The Old Royal Oak offers bed and breakfast accommodation in Knaresborough, North Yorkshire. The B&B is definitely worth a visit, located in Knaresborough's famous 'Market Square' the inn dates back to the 18th century and has a real 'oldie worldy' feel to it, it’s even got it's very own ‘Priest Hole’.
Around the market square and high street are lots of little shops and galleries. If you visit on a Wednesday you can enjoy the colourful market. Knaresborough Castle is a must see with commanding views over the town and River Nidd.
Some of the many close attractions include Ripley Castle, Fountains Abbey, Nidd Valley and The Yorkshire Dales. The historic city of York is a short train journey away as is the bustling city of Leeds.
