The Border Hotel is a is a traditional Scottish property that offers comfortable and cosy hotel accommodation in Kirth Tetholm and is great base for walkers as we are at the end of the 268 mile Pennine Way.
The Border Hotel has five 'named' guest rooms, each offering exceptionally high standards of comfort with spectacular views over the village green or the surrounding countryside. All five hotel rooms are as charming as they are functional, with en-suite shower and bath, flat-screen digital TV, tea and coffee facilities and radio alarm clock.
Kirk Tetholm is best known as a centre for walkers. The Pennine Way Long Distance Footpath ends at the Border Hotel, a mere 268 miles north of its southern terminus in Edale, Derbyshire. Kirk Tetholm has also become a feature on the St. Cuthbert's Way, a 62 mile walk following in the footsteps of St. Cuthbert from Melrose to Lindisfarne.
