Our hotel is in an ideal location for those who want to explore the Teesdale National Park and we are also only four miles from Hadrian's Wall. 

A hearty and wholesome breakfast is served in our dining room and is all homemade! There is an excellent menu available and our fruit and veg are all grown in our vegetable garden. Dinner is available Monday to Saturday and an example menu of this can be found on our own website. 

The hotel and its grounds are set within 10 acres of woods and pastures and is a place where all of our livestock are free to roam as they are our pets! Oakwood is a very convenient centre for visiting the beautiful English lakes and the peaceful hills of the Scottish Borders and Southern Scotland.
