Craiglea Bed & Breakfast is situated on a quiet lane close to the
centre of the village of Braemar in beautiful Aberdeenshire. Surrounded
by mountains, rivers, woodland and castles, and with
wildlife a plenty, there is something for everyone.
On arrival guests can enjoy a welcome drink and home baking in the living room whilst reading up about the local area.
There are 3 double rooms, 2 twin rooms and a family room. All rooms boast en suite facilities, tea and coffee hospitality tray, television, radio alarm, hairdryer, toiletries, tourist information and Wi-Fi. All rooms are light and airy and offer superb views of Braemar and the surrounding countryside.
A substantial full Scottish breakfast or continental breakfast is included in the price. Packed lunches are available by prior arrangement.
Craiglea is ideally situated for walking, cycling, golf, skiing and of course sightseeing. Braemar has some of the finest mountain scenery anywhere in the country. One major attraction of the area is the Glenshee Ski Centre. Equipment is available to hire at Ski Braemar which is just around the corner.
Local attractions include the Queen’s summer residence of Balmoral and the beautiful Braemar Castle. Natural wonders include The Linn of Dee, a narrow gorge on the river Dee about 6 miles west of Braemar, whilst the Linn of Quoich is a narrow chasm on the river Quoich and was a favourite place of Queen Victoria's.
