Pen y Banc, Solva, Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire
Pen Y Banc offers two beautiful bed and breakfast rooms as well as a self catering holiday apartment situated in the picturesque Welsh village of Solva, near Haverfordwest in Pembrokeshire.
Facing towards the offshore island of Skomer, the cosy window seat is the perfect place to enjoy a cup of tea and admire the fabulous view. The ample size room sleeps two in the very comfy king size bed. Included are TV, tea & coffee making facilities, quality towels and linen, use of a small fridge with fresh milk and a pretty en suite shower room.
Our other room is larger and can have a very comfy put-you-up bed made available and therefore can sleep three. This guest room has views along the coast towards Ramsey Island and has all the same high quality facilities. In both our guest rooms the Velux window above the king size bed perfectly frames the night sky as you drift off to sleep.
Our breakfast menu includes fish options and has all the trimmings to set you up for the day. Wherever possible we buy best quality local produce. Our jams and marmalades are homemade by us and our own chickens usually provide the eggs. Our breakfast room also has lovely sea views.
The picturesque village of Solva in the national park area of Pembrokeshire, offers the visitor a wealth of unspoilt coastline. The Fiord like harbour forms a safe anchorage: there are sands, rock pools and caves. Safe bathing can be enjoyed and the sailing enthusiast, fisherman, diver, ornithologist and rambler will discover a really spectacular area of interest.
